Citizen science introduction and advanced online courses SS2021
Online-courses in spring 2021
Every semester we offer courses for doctoral students, postdocs and practitioners. The course Citizen Science Introduction: First steps in a participatory research process offers an introduction to issues and methods. Using concrete examples, participants learn about different fields of application and design principles.
The course Citizen Science Advanced: Designing and facilitating participatory research processes competently is aimed at doctoral students, postdocs and practitioners with already existing experience who want to learn more about the design of citizen science projects.
Participation and target group
The courses are offered in cooperation with the UZH Graduate Campus. Participation is open to doctoral students and postdocs from all universities and practitioners from diverse contexts such as NGOs or associations working with heterogeneous target groups who wish to expand their repertoire of scientific methods.
